”We use Mavenlink everyday. We are a company of 10 members and every member tracks their work in Mavenlink.” - Fabio Ferrari at Addiction Creative Media Lab
Q: Sean Crafts (Mavenlink Co-Founder) - Can you tell us a little about your business?
A: Fabio Ferrari - Addiction Creative Media Lab develops web applications in several technologies, including PHP, Java, MySQL, Adobe Flash. Our core business is to develop websites for small, medium and large companies.
We also work on digital signage projects for some important fairs companies, a dedicated application in Adobe Flash, and in the last year, we’ve worked on 3D animation on Realfiction Dreamoc devices. At the end of this year, we will have acquired a company involved in iOS App development to improve our capabilities there.
Q: Sean - How did you find Mavenlink?
A: Fabio - Unsurprisingly, through Google. We have tried a lot of online collaboration tools, and have happily moved forward with Mavenlink.
Q: Sean - What pain points has Mavenlink solved for your business?
A: Fabio - We like to work with agile project management method and we like to use a rigid timeline. Mavenlink works very well in this way. There are some limits in the functionality (eg. I can't move a subtask in a milestone to another one), but Mavenlink has helped us improve our agile work performance.
Q: Sean - What do your clients, consultants, and fellow co-workers say about Mavenlink?
A: Fabio - They really like it, especially the interface.
Q: Sean - Please explain the results of using Mavenlink and Google Apps.
A: Fabio - We take advantage of the sharing with Google Docs features, and the Gmail integration to collaborate with our team and easily respond via email.
