Aplus Interior Design Builds its System of Record on Mavenlink, Google Apps

Based in Orange County, California, APlus Interior Design & Remodeling is one of the largest construction companies offering interior design in southern California.  With more than 30 years’ experience in custom remodeling of residential properties, APlus is a go-to solution for complete remodels from old home down to new home up.

Managing upwards of a hundred projects with associated files, schedules, and photos requires a streamlined field-to-office information flow. In the past, APlus field crews accessed a spreadsheet on Dropbox, but not everyone could access it at once. APlus switched to Google Drive, so all field workers could access read-only files simultaneously on their mobile devices.  The Google Drive files integrate with Mavenlink to build a complete system of record for all project files, eliminating a manual process.

“Google simplified everything for files and contacts, and Mavenlink has become our number-one source of communication,” APlus Business Systems Analyst Frank Zare said. “Everything has to be entered in Mavenlink, or we don’t address it.”

Files that used to get lost in a manual process and email are now tied to project histories. Zare can access archives for any purpose, including creating marketing materials.  Zare openly connects with the Mavenlink team for product feedback and is excited for future integration opportunities that can get his team even closer to the goal of an all-in-one system.

“I’ve seen a lot of changes over the past year and a half, and it’s great.”
