Apokrisis, headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska is a web marketing and web development services company. They pride themselves on being "the first true interactive agency in Alaska." Apokrisis, pronounced (ap-ok'-ree-sis) is a Greek word meaning "answers." Apokrisis provides answers to all of their customers' digital marketing and website questions. Recently, we interviewed Kristen Lindsey, managing partner of Apokrisis.
Q: Sean Crafts (Mavenlink Co-Founder) - Can you tell us a little about your business?
A: Kristen Lindsey - We are an interactive agency specializing in web design and internet marketing. Our primary products are custom website designs on an online business platform and content-centric search engine marketing.
Q: Sean - How did you find Mavenlink?
A: Kristen Lindsey - We found Mavenlink when researching converting to Quickbooks online. We liked the level of integration with the accounting software.
Q: Sean - How would you describe Mavenlink to a colleague in one sentence or less?
A: Kristen Lindsey - It is a project management and agency management tool that is tightly integrated with accounting software. I see it as a means to operate more efficiently and provide better service to clients.
Q: Sean - What pain points has Mavenlink solved for your business?
A: Kristen Lindsey - We just started using it, but we are growing and have a need to better manage workflow and staff/organizational capacity. We hope to use Mavenlink to do this better. The biggest selling point, however, is being able to effectively manage project costs on the fly.
Q: Sean - Please explain the results of using Mavenlink and Google Apps.
A: Kristen Lindsey -We have not integrated them together yet but are reviewing options for doing it in a way that helps us work more efficiently.
Q: Sean - What Mavenlink feature(s) could you not live without?
A: Kristen Lindsey - time tracking, project costing, task management.
Q: Sean - Anything else you want to tell us?
A: Kristen Lindsey-I am looking forward to seeing the Premier rollout.
