Interview

Centralized Workflow & Gaming Development with Neptum Studios

”Mavenlink helps us keep the focus on our work rather than organizing files and managing the communication.” - Marcelo Takeo Tomita, Manager at Neptum Studios

Q: Sean Crafts (Mavenlink Co-Founder) - Can you tell us a little about your business?

A: Marcelo Takeo Tomita - Neptum Studios is a small indie games development company whose workers all do their jobs at their home offices, while meeting in person from time to time to gather all the work done in order to create a full featured game version.

Q: Sean - How did you find Mavenlink?

A: Marcelo - Like many others, we found Mavenlink in the Google Apps Marketplace.

Q: Sean - What pain points has Mavenlink solved for your business?

A: Marcelo - Mavenlink has centralized our activities and helped us keep track of each others progress through the process of game development.

Q: Sean - Please explain the Results of using Mavenlink and Google Apps.

A: Marcelo - We use Mavenlink to work together with Google Calendar and Google Docs integration. Every activity and task has its deadline recorded in our shared calendar and every delivery is kept secure in our shared docs in a specific collection for each project.

We centralize the files, contacts and special dates through the entire team without much effort.

Q: Sean - Anything else you want to tell us or features you’d like to see?

A: Marcelo - Mavenlink created a wonderful tool to organize our work. As we're growing in size, I feel like Mavenlink helps us keep the focus on our work rather than organizing files and managing the communication among all of us, even though we are physically far from each other.

Neptum Studios can be found on Facebook, and you can contact Neptum Studios directly on their website.
