IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 8, 2015 -- Mavenlink, a leading provider of innovative project and resource management software, today announced it has completed SSAE16 examinations and received clean SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports. These certifications are a necessary part of the selection process for the growing number of large enterprises who are turning to Mavenlink for a centralized solution for managing people, projects, revenue, and profitability.
The SOC reports, short for Service Organization Controls, document Mavenlink's adherence to the SSAE16 auditing standard. A SOC 1 report indicates a proper level of control over financial reporting; SOC 2 focuses on an organization's controls over its system's security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
"Our rapidly growing business with large enterprise customers demands that we demonstrate the maturity and integrity of our systems and processes," said Roger Neel, CTO and Founder of Mavenlink. "As we partner with our largest customers to help them manage revenue and profitability, they can feel the utmost confidence in our controls, processes and systems."
The audits were conducted by A-lign, a nationwide full service security, assurance, and compliance solutions firm. "Mavenlink received unqualified SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports, indicating controls existed without exceptions over a six-month time span," said A-lign CEO Scott Price. "These controls enable Mavenlink to assist their clients with proper internal controls over financial reporting."
