Mavenlink Partners with Intacct to Create Critical Link Between ERP and Project Delivery Systems

Integration Provides Streamlined Data Solution for Professional Services Firms, Marketing Agencies, and Business Consultancies

IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 10, 2015 – Mavenlink, a leading global provider of project and resource management software and a Gartner 2015 Cool Vendor*, announced today a partnership with Intacct, a leading provider of best-in-class cloud ERP software.

As part of the new relationship, Mavenlink has built an integration with Intacct to sync customers’ accounting and financial data with their project activity and team performance. The integration creates efficiencies and reduces the risk of error as data is automatically transferred bidirectionally between applications. It also allows a business to view the customer implementation lifecycle holistically, revealing opportunities for significant financial gains. Other benefits of the integration include:

  • Ability to forecast revenue with precision. As project timelines and payment milestones shift in Mavenlink, anticipated order entries adjust automatically, providing the finance team with real-time visibility into projected revenue.
  • Improved data quality and avoidance of redundant data entry. Delivery teams track time and log expenses against client engagements within Mavenlink. Approved entries transfer seamlessly to Intacct for invoicing.
  • Accelerated cash collection. Delivery teams get visibility into invoice amount and status so they know when to follow up and when to sell more work.

“This partnership marks a significant advancement for services organizations that are seeking a holistic and unified approach to managing their business,” said Ray Grainger, CEO of Mavenlink. “Running a services business is very complex, and even more so because executives have been forced to work in disparate systems and spreadsheets. The Mavenlink and Intacct integration is a simple and elegant solution to view your business as a complete ecosystem. For the first time, services businesses have the ability to manage and control every aspect of their operation from proposal development to cash collection.”

Intacct’s cloud ERP software is designed to help mid-market companies streamline financial processes, increase visibility into their operation, and ultimately accelerate their growth. Intacct provides project-based businesses with a powerful set of analytics and reporting tools that empower users with real-time insight to analyze client service levels, see which clients are most profitable, and determine how to best utilize staff.

“Services companies and other project-based businesses thrive on Intacct, as our system is designed to meet the complex needs of these companies,” said Scott Lumish, VP of Business Development at Intacct. “This new partnership with Mavenlink will deliver huge benefits to our joint customers, as offering an integration between our two best-in-class solutions provides unprecedented opportunities for process and performance improvements. It is a powerful solution for services firms looking to breakthrough and scale their business.”

Mavenlink will introduce the integration at Intacct Advantage 2015, Intacct’s customer and partner conference taking place this week in Las Vegas. At the conference, Mavenlink will lead a session titled “Maximum Financial Performance: Leveraging the Connected Cloud of Mavenlink and Intacct.” Attendees will hear directly from customers simplifying their technology footprint, streamlining processes, and accelerating business performance by connecting Mavenlink with Intacct and their CRM system.

The Mavenlink and Intacct integration is available to customers of Mavenlink Premier, the company’s flagship SaaS offering.
